Frequently Asked Questions!
Whats the best age range for a Bump Seat?
Rather than age, we recommend following a weight limit of 40 lbs. While many toddlers fit the seat well, we’ve found that comfort levels tend to decrease once a child passes the 40-pound mark. Prioritizing weight over age ensures your child stays comfortable and securely positioned
Whats the difference between a Auto Buckle and a Offroad Buckle Harness?
The Auto Buckle is designed for convenience and familiarity. it features a push-to-release mechanism identical to a standard car seatbelt, making it incredibly easy for parents to get children in and out quickly during daily use.
The Offroad Buckle is a more robust, professional-grade solution. It utilizes a steel hook-style fastening system derived from racing applications. Because this mechanism requires more intentional effort to release, it is significantly more difficult for a child to unbuckle themselves, providing extra peace of mind during rugged rides or for children who tend to play with their buckles.
Should i choose a Bump Seat or Mini Bucket/Kid Cushion?
While both products enhance the riding experience, they solve two very different needs:
- The Bump Seat: This is your solution for capacity. If you have a 2-seater and need a 3rd, or a 4-seater and need a 5th, the Bump Seat adds that vital extra spot. Many parents also choose a Bump Seat even if they have extra room in the back, simply because it brings the little ones up front between Mom and Dad for a more engaging, supervised experience.
- The Mini Bucket / Kid Cushion: This is your solution for fit and visibility. If you already have enough seats but find your child is "swallowed" by the large stock seats, the Mini Bucket acts as a booster. It raises them up so they can actually see the trail, while ensuring the harness or seatbelt sits across their chest properly and comfortably.
How difficult is install?
"Will I need to modify my machine?"
Absolutely not. None of our products require cutting or drilling, so you can return your machine to factory condition whenever you like. We include everything you need for a smooth setup right in the box.
- Bump Seats (~1 Hour): Our easiest install. Simply mount the bracket and attach the seat.
- Bucket Seats (~1.5 Hours): A straightforward process involving a specialized bracket and the seat assembly.
- Bench Seats (~2 Hours): Requires about an hour to remove your stock seats and another hour to secure your new bench.
Do i need to purchase anything else to get my seats installed?
Not at all. When you purchase from us, you get the complete kit. We don't believe in "separate" bracket purchases; everything required for a safe and secure installation is included with your seat. Our goal is to get you out of the garage and onto the trail as quickly as possible, with no extra trips to the hardware store.
